Mash Dal is the Ayurvedic name for urad dal, which is one of the richest sources of protein and vitamin B. The whole urad dal has many health benefits because it is high in protein, fat, and carbohydrates. This straightforward lentil is loaded with iron, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, and potassium, making it an ideal food for health.
The whole mash Dal lacks its black husk. It smells delicious and is a creamy white color. Before using it, it must be soaked for a few hours to speed up the cooking process.
In Pakistani cuisine, for instance, Mash/Urad dal whole gota is frequently used. By boiling the dal and seasoning it with tomato, garlic, ginger, and onion, you can make dal fry.
